Just wanted to let you know how much we are enjoying your coffee.  Ran out last week & had to use some mass-market beans we had left in the freezer, stored in the freezer because that is supposed to keep it fresh. Well, the difference was immediate -- the fresh roasted aroma & flavor we were used to was absent, & the mass-market coffee was so acidic that we could barely drink it. Love & miss your rich smooth beans - please bring some by (wednesday would be best, I've got to get by the bank for actual cash - one bag full city). I have been going to Costa Rica for years and never even tried the coffee because I never really liked it.   A friend went with back to Costa with me last year and he really likes coffee.  I tried it over there and discovered I really like it.  He said Costarican coffee is one of the best.  I believed it until I got back home and tried some Keens Beans.  Not only did I discover it was the best tasting coffee I had ever tasted but it was from Costa Rica as well.  This stuff taste great.  It is good! Eric, it was the Keens Beans story; that of being very fussy about great coffee as well as a concern for the environment, that got me to have my first cup.  Coffee beans all the way from your plantation in Costa Rica to your roasting it here in Pensacola, to your cup (well, in this case, my cup) suggested I would be in for a treat.   What is it your label says?  "At Keens, we know beans!"  You certainly do!  A great cup of coffee without the acidic taste I've found in others.  I like that. Now when wanting an excellent cup of coffee my only problem is having to drive almost to Alabama or to downtown Pensacola in order to resupply kitchen with the best I have found.  Heck sake, I'm even trying hard to get our local coffee stop (yes, coffee stop) to use Keens Beans so that others will learn about you too.  Selfish?  Guilty!  Rex Jenson Lillian  AL

We are very picky about our coffee and have been set up with another mail order coffee provider for over TEN years. We try other coffee whenever we hear of a good one just to see if we are still getting the best. Well, fall of 2009 we were introduced to Keens Beans at the Pensacola arts festival in down town Pensacola and we were hooked. Their coffee was roasted to just the right temperature, not burnt, and it is organically grown. Recently we ordered 2-1lb. Bags of American Medium Roast and they roasted them overnight and shipped them the next morning STILL WARM. Now you can't get them any fresher than that. When we opened the mail box it was like heaven. We have discontinued our ongoing order with the other company and will get our coffee from Keens Beans for as long as they keep roasting.
